I am very sorry for your loss. I am very comforted by the promise that God "will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning, nor...pain be anymore..." I hope you can take comfort in this promise as well.

I just heard about Ray Ackerman's passing. What a great loss for his family and the residents of OKC! He was such a great man and a good person. He helped me in the start of my career in PR at St. Anthony Hospital in the '70s and again when I started my own business...probably little things to him, but huge to me. I admired him so much. He truly LIVED his faith! God bless him.

God bless Mr. Ackerman and his family. Mr. Ackerman gave so much to Oklahoma City from the Oklahoma River to the B.C.Clark's Christmas jingle. We will miss "Old Man River."
