I met Ray when I was working on the Unimatic system of United Airlines, sometime in the 1970's. I learned real fast that he was someone you could go to with a problem and get a straight answer. He always took time to help me. His personality and quick wit made him someone you just wanted to be around. He will be missed by many. My deepest condolences to Ray's family.

Dear Tom, Cindy and I are saddened by your Dad's passing and hope that you, your sister and brother find comfort in each other. Dad is now without the rigors and pains of life and has joined Mom in watching over their family

To Ray's Family,
My deepest condolences! Ray was one-of-a-kind. He was very wise and perceptive, and what a quick wit he had. He used to make me laugh all the time. I always loved his accent, too. He always used to make me think of entertainers like Dean Martin, Bing Crosby, etc. Ray was my supervisor for a few years when I was a console operator on the Unimatic System. I remember when things were quiet, he'd have us spit-shine the place, then he'd give it the old "white glove test". My thoughts & prayers are with you at your time of loss.
