If this was the Ray Call that served on the USS Ozbourn in the late 50's, we were shipmates and good friends. He introduced me to Rosemary Mallamace and she and I dated for a brief time while our ship was in dry dock at Mare Island naval base. Ray and Rosemary were both great friends. May he rest in peace.

As my parents said above.

I remember growing up across the street from Ray. He always seemed so happy, and a nice guy to be around. Even though I have not seen him in many many years, I feel sad knowing he has passed.

Our thoughts are with your family.

Donna, Kathy and Rick

We were stunned and saddend to see the notice of Ray's passing today. He was a kind, good man and a wonderful neighbor. We missed you when you moved away from our street and we thought of Ray and all of you often. Ray was always so interesting to talk to and was always available to help anyone who needed it. Tears were shed today for Ray. We send our sympathy and love to Ray's family. Heaven will be an even nicer place with Ray there. We're so very sorry for your loss. Even though we haven't seen him in a few years, we never forgot him and always thought of him as a friend.
