Raymond Croce Obituary
On September 30, 1995, Ray married the love of his life Zulema "Sue" Ahedo. Together they moved to Georgia and built a life surrounded with love and laughter. Ray's greatest joy in life was being a father to Jacob, Juan, Jackie, and Grace and the twinkle in his eye was never brighter than when he was talking about each of them.
Despite moving to Georgia 27 years ago, Ray remained a passionate fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies, Sixers, and Penn State Nittany Lions. Ray attended Penn State on a baseball scholarship following graduating from Abington High School. In addition to spending time with his family, Ray enjoyed playing golf, attending sporting events and talking about sports with his lifelong friends, who were like brothers to him. Ray will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Before becoming a stay-at-home dad, Ray worked for many years at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia where he was everyone's friend and favorite underwriter. Ray will be deeply missed for his big personality and ability to make everyone around him laugh. All who knew Ray would agree he lit up a room with his "heart of gold", warm smile and infectious laugh.
Ray is survived by his loving wife and cherished children. He is also survived by his treasured aunts, uncles, and cousins. Ray was the friend everyone should have in life and his ride-or-die brothers (they know who they are!) will continue their adventures and zest for life in his honor.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Ray's life at a Funeral Mass followed by a reception held at Saint Brigid Catholic Church on 3400 Old Alabama Rd, Johns Creek, GA 30022, on Friday, June 17 at 11:00 a.m.
A Memorial service and reception will also be held for family and friends in Pennsylvania at North Hills Country Club, 99 Station Avenue, North Hills, PA 19038, on Saturday, June 25 at 11:00 a.m.
