Raymond Dobard

Raymond Milford "BooBoo" Dobard, age 74, a native New Orleanian, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 30, 2022. He was born March 19, 1948, to the late Ernest and Minerva "Momma Red" Dobard. He was educated in the New Orleans Public School System. Served in the Airforce with a tour in Vietnam. Raymond was always surrounded by the love of his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. Raymond leaves to cherish fondest memories to his wife Rosemary Brown Dobard, daughter Tene Dobard Bates, brothers Percy (Linda) and Ernest Dobard, sisters Elaine Dempsey, Dolores Gibson and sister-in-law Vera Marigny, stepdaughter Charmaine Harris (Patrick), stepson Bryant Brown (Lisa), goddaughter Tangelia Williams, grandchildren Kylie, Jourdan, Jarius and Brandon; aunt Iona Crittidon, good friend August Dupont and a host of other relatives and friends. Raymond was preceded to glory by his parents Ernest and Minerva "Momma Red" Dobard and brother, Elliot Dobard. Relatives and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life Service honoring Raymond "BooBoo" Dobard on Saturday, December 10, 2022, for 10:00 a.m. at Pentecost Baptist Church, 1510 Harrison Avenue, New Orleans, LA.
