Dear Roger and Clifford,
I was saddened to learn of your father's death. He and your mother were very kind and helpful to my mother in her later years. Good People. I fondly remember your father trimming the bushes around your yard. At times it seemed like he was in a battle with the bushes but he always came out with them looking good. He was the last of the post WW II original owners on that end of the block. The Wielands, Hatstats, Schrams and my parents along with your parents all came to Oak Lawn raised their children and stayed until they died. A passing of a "Great Generation."
No matter the age of a parent the feeling of loss is still felt.
Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the passing of your father.
Rick Hornat.
