Raymond (Ray) Enderlin Jr.

Raymond (Ray) Enderlin Jr., age 55, of Russellville, passed from this life Sunday, April 15, 2018, at home. He was born August 20, 1962, the oldest of four children, to Raymond (Dick) and Margaret (Marc) Forst Enderlin in Little Rock. Ray grew up in Conway, attended St. Joseph Catholic School, and worked in his family business at Enderlin Nursery and Garden Center. He graduated from Hendrix College with a business degree and went on to become a Certified Public Accountant. Upon college graduation, he worked for the Arkansas Legislative Audit until 1992 when he and his family made the decision to purchase Quick Service Laundry and Cleaners in Russellville, which he owned and operated for 25 years. He attended St. Augustine Catholic Church in Dardanelle. Ray enjoyed working in his yard, cooking, reading, playing cards and board games, hiking, and riding his bike. He loved to dance, and boy could he cut a rug! He was known for his amazing muffins and peanut butter pie and would make wonderful weekend breakfasts. He was a hardworking, honest man and a loving and generous husband and father. Ray had a cheerful, upbeat personality and a smile for everyone he met. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marc Enderlin. Survivors include his wife and best friend of 33 years, Margaret Nabholz Enderlin of Russellville; two daughters, Rachel Enderlin of Little Rock and Jessica (Zach) Callaway of Denver, Colorado; a son, Alex (Emily) Enderlin of Little Rock; his father, Raymond "Dick" Enderlin of Conway; a sister, Carolyn Hambuchen of Conway; two brothers, Michael (Jill) Enderlin of Conway and Matt (Amber) Enderlin of Little Rock; 32 nieces and nephews; and his in-laws, Ray (Laura) Nabholz, Joe (Debi) Nabholz, Mary (Robert) Stone, Dorothy (Randy) Taylor, Carolyn (Don) Hinson, Rosie (Gerald) Elsinger, and Judy (Kevin) Bass. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at St. John Catholic Church with Father Mauricio Carrasco officiating. Entombment will be at St. Joseph Mausoleum in Conway under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville. Rosary service will begin at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday evening, April 17, 2018, at St. John Catholic Church, with visitation starting at 6:30 p.m. Pallbearers will be his nephews, Josh Hambuchen, Zach Hambuchen, Blake Enderlin, Landon Enderlin, Cole Enderlin, Drake Enderlin, and Nick Enderlin.
