My dearest Ray, I will miss you every single day. Your smile, quick wit, funny stories, and all around ability to bring joy and wisdom are only a few of your greatest qualities. I will treasure our memories and you will always have a special place in my heart.

So sad to hear this news. He was a great neighbor. He and your mom were special.

When we lived in Ridgefield at one point Ray was treasurer for a large organization (I forgot which one ) and I recall that he began his report by saying that he understood that his job was to be honest, accurate AND BRIEF. And he was. Ray was also one of the nicest people I have ever known.

What a beautiful obituary for man of distinction and a life well lived! I will miss Ray and our Zoom travels!

Honestly, there is so much that can be said about Ray, and I only met him in person a couple times at the lake. But then, I met him virtually on the international travel Zoom trips that he arranged with the assistance of Barbara and Stephen. Always adding something new and interesting to each trip, Ray would be teacher to all his Zoom trip participants. On many a gloomy Sunday in New England, he made my day, as he would recount where he had travelled throughout the world. Thank you, Ray! And many thanks to his adoring daughters, their spouses and relatives who graciously shared him.
