I had the absolute privilege to meet with him back in February 2013 for an interview as a mitzvah project at the time. He was a very gentle soul who let the positive impact on me and after our meeting, I never forgot about him ever since. To his friends and his family, I think of you guys often and may he rest well.

May God provide comfort and solace to mourning ones as your beloved R.I.P. Until God's will is done on earth as it is in heaven, doing away with death and pain shortly.

Dear Rhoda and Family,
Abie and I want to express our deepest sympathies to all of you. Ray was a very special man. He was our holocaust survivor on the March of the Living 2011. He was a compassionate and sensitive educator who eloquently communicated the strength and resilience of the Jewish people during the most horrific period of Jewish existence. It took a great deal of courage to return to Poland year after year to face this ugly period of his life in order to show and explain his history to the next generation. Abie and I greatly respected and admired Ray. He became our dear friend and he will never be forgotten. Naomi and Abie
