I had the pleasure of working with Stan on the Nevada ACTE board and through our CTE department here in Clark County, Nevada. Stan was very supportive as he came to visit some of the programs my students and I facilitated. He was always kind to myself and my family as we traveled to various state conferences and policy seminars. To his wife Deb, my heart goes out to you at this time of grief and know that my children and I are still here if you need anything. Stan will be greatly missed by our family.

It was a pleasure working with Stan on the NACTE board and as the Director of CTE for Clark County. He always wanted the best for the people he worked with, providing teachers like me guidance and support was his talent. You will be missed greatly Stan, your legacy will live on in the dreams of many CCSD teachers and students.

It was an honor to work closely with Stan. Sometimes we would speak at State Board meetings or he would drop by my office after them to talk about CTE issues. He was such an advocate for doing what was best for students and was a leader statewide for CTE. He was a colleague and a friend. We will feel his absence. My condolences to the family.

Stan was a very down-to-earth principal. Peg, Ann, and I always enjoyed starting the day an hour or more before school with coffee and talk - often about the small towns in Indiana. Deepest sympathies.

Stan Hall will be missed by all of us who teach in the CTAs. His efforts and hard work have made such an impact on the direction of career and technical education in the CCSD. He was always so supportive of the Health Science Career Fair and one time he called all the nurses from the career academies together for a meeting, because he really cared about our input regarding CTE. I will miss him not only as the fine professional he was, but even more as the smiling person who offered encouragement and support to me personally. I am so sorry for your loss.

My heartfelt condolences go to Debra and the entire Hall family. I consider it an honor and privilege to have worked for a wonderful man as Stan. He was an exceptional supervisor and caring colleague. He was always supportive and never, not once, did he turn anyone away whenever they needed help or advice. He worked so hard to further career and technical education in the state of Nevada and in the Clark County School District. An outstanding educator, he dedicated his life to helping students and will be sorely missed. I learned so much from him and will be forever grateful for his contributions and for the time he was a part of my life.

As a Pike High School parent and school board member, I worked with Stan for several years before he moved to Nevada. He was one of the most professional administrators that I ever knew, highly respected by students and parents alike. He cared deeply about the students and was a pleasure to work with. He often talked about his lovely wife Debra, and I know she must be so proud that he left a positive mark on so many lives.

Deb,
When I think of Stan, I think of all the wonderful things he stood for, dealt with, and persevered for. He was a consummate educator, compassionate, reliable, and thorough. He took my oldest son, Matt to a National BPA contest, in Phoenix, AZ, no less. I think he and Gretchen Roeder came in second Nationally in their category. But more than than that, I came to know Stan as a dear and trusted friend, through some turbulent times of growth and expansion of Pike High School.
I cannot imagine your grief, and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
Stan was a thoroughly good and decent person. He will be remembered fondly by the many people who knew him, as a teacher, leader, mentor, and friend.

To Ms. Hall -
Just know that your husband was the consummate professional. I can honestly say that Stan was a very influential person for CTE he touched all of our lives every day. His dedication to CTE made CCSD's CTAs what they are today, the model of education in the district. We will all sorely miss his presence. Stan was an amazing man - my heart felt sorrow goes out to you in your time of grief. I am so sorry -

Stan was a good friend and a wonderful boss to to all of the CTE staff. We will always remember his fun loving way and how much he valued his family and friends. I won't forget his first day when we celebrated with a cake made like a large colby cheese. We then officially called him the "Big Cheese." He loved it. Stan loved to see the students doing great and meaningful things in the classroom and how this could move them into a better life. I will really miss him and I hope that Deb will be comforted by all of the fun things that they did. He was a very special person.

I will always be appreciative of my opportunity to work with Stan as my building principal at New Augusta North. He was personable and always had an open door - ready to help in any way he could. He was even willing to roll up his sleeves and help me change a flat tire in the school parking lot. Stan touched many lives in many ways and will be sincerely missed.

Parents and educators rarely get to fully witness the way they have impacted the lives of others. The ripple effect goes out through infinity. Stan's leadership in Career & Technical Education caused more positive educational and life experiences for countless students, teachers and community partners. We can only hope to leave this world better than we found it. I would like to thank his family for everything they did to support him so that he could support so many others to make the world a better place. I am sad to see him leave us but proud that I knew and got to work with him.

Stan was a great man who deeply cared about his work and people. It was so strange to end up working with someone who was from the little part of Indiana that I was from, way out in Las Vegas. He had so much wisdom, work ethic and a way to weed through red tape to get things done for kids. I am so sad and sorry about his passing. My condolences go out to his family.

When I was a new teacher at Pike High School, Stan would often stop in and check on me. When he found out I had been a former administrator, we would often talk in his office and he would 'de-stress' by talking with me. I always appreciated his trust in my confidence and saw him as a genuine and caring person. It was Pike's loss when he left.

As a Teacher at Pike High School, I worked with Stan when he was the Business Ed Dept. Head, one of our Vice Principals and the Principal at New Augusta North. Stan was a good administrator and worked well with his staff. He was also a great guy to have as a travel guide in Miami in Florida on a School trip for the grading policy committee. He knew where the best places to eat were. Stan will be missed here at Pike.

I had the privilege of working for Mr Hall when he was Principal of New Augusta Public Academy in Indianapolis, IN. He was an excellent principal, always interested in the students and staff, and always available to help work out a problem. He had to deal with some interesting issues there, but he handled the things that were thrown at him with class and compassion.
He had a quick wit and a massive amount ot energy... I will always smile when i remember him, and my heart goes out to his wife and family, and all those that knew him.... he will be missed....
