I was blessed to see Scottie on Mother's Day weekend. It was bittersweet, sad to know he was ill, but happy to have had that last goodbye. I will miss his sweet, kind, and happy being. He was an inspiration to us all, and we as a family will feel the loss of our "loved" one. I am praying for his family in North Carolina and here in Virgina. I love you and will miss you Scottie.

We just learned of your loss this evening. Had we known, we would of been there today. Words cannot describe how we feel. Brent will always cherish his memories of playing baseball on Scott's team. His smile, we will never forget. God bless you.

I am so sorry for the lost of a good father, husband and a good friend.I remember the 23rd Psalm when I think of Scott for he influence so many people with his friendly smile and wonderful attitude. He gave my daughter her first love of sports and we are so glad we had the opportunity to get to know him and his family. My God Bless each of you and remember this that "God didn't take Scott away, he made a place for him". We Love you all.
