Ray Kalaman was a friend, and trustworthy confidant. We knew him for as long as we can remember and it was a pleasure picking up the phone and hearing his voice on the other end of the line. He was always interested in anything and everything going on in Manitoba and on the farm. Weather and business wise. He was a honest business man and it was a pleasure doing business with him. It was an honor and privilege to know him and spend the time we could with him. It was hard to see his health decline and see him in pain because of it. We will miss you dearly, old friend. May you rest in peace.

Rosan and family, so sorry to read about Ray's passing. Remembering the good times, typing invoices with carbon paper on manual typewriter, setting up the displays for the custom car shows, the hallowe'en party in Holdfast, starting the "Christmas Cheer" and the many laughs while living in Regina. Sendng deepest condolences to all of you.

My dear cousin, Raymond was one of my favourite cousins. We shared some wonderful, happy, childhood times at the farm in Whitewood. I'll always remember Ray for his hearty laugh and love of practical jokes (usually aimed at RoseMary and me). He lived his life fast and hard. That's simply who my cousin was. He will be missed.
