Mary Kay Figueroa

Mary Kay Figueroa 64, Columbia, MO, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at her home in Ashland, MO.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2019 from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm at Memorial Funeral Home, Columbia, MO. Memorial service will follow at 3:00 pm at the funeral home with Bishop William Linzie.

Mary was born on July 3, 1954 in Spring Valley, MN the daughter of Raymond and Corrine (Clark) Hinze who preceded her in death. She was married on April 8, 2016 in Atlantic, IA to Byron Figueroa who survives of the home. Mary was active in the Jesus Saving Grace Church; enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing, embroidery, writing poetry, spending time with her family and dancing (her favorite was the Macarena).

Other survivors include: her five children, Sean Dawson (Andrea) of Apple Valley, MN, Brian Dawson of Sheboygan, WI, Robin Posey of Columbia, MO, Stephanie Posey of Columbia, MO and James Posey of Columbia, MO; one sister, Cindy Damon of Wisconsin; two brothers, Tom Hinze of Fargo, ND and Kenny Hinze of St. Cloud, MN and four grandchildren, Audrey Dawson, Malachi Dawson, Tahlia Dawson and Kinsley Dawson. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry Hinze and Lester Hinze and one sister, Pat Hinze.
