Dear Barb and family,
I will forever be indebted to Pastor Ray's profound influence in my early life as a follower of Christ. I began attending the First Baptist Church of Allegan my senior year of high school. I was far from the Lord at the time. He and Ken Martin took me under their wings and had a large influence leading to my commitment to Christ. We attended Pastor's school in Hammond, Indiana where I found my purpose of helping people find Jesus Christ. This led to God's call to a lifetime of ministry to this day.

Dear Family,
My fondest memories of Pastor Ray were at the many luncheons we shared with our mutual friend Dale. Another memory stands out seeing him jogging between Allegan and Otsego on M-89. I believe his turn-around point was after a visit with Pastor Phillips in Otsego. Pictured here is a memory of four good friends meeting for lunch; Dale Reich, Pastor Phillips, Pastor Mayhew, and me. I will miss these wonderful times and am so thankful for them.
God bless,
Bob Goodrich

Barbara, I remembered the name of the music group we heard: Thurlow Spurr.

Blessings!

I still have the laminated Bible verse Ray left when he called. It's placed where I can see and read it every day.

Barbara, I'm praying that God will send you a dear, thoughtful friend soon. You were so kind to me when I was newly widowed. I'm sure you have been a support to many people through the years. In my case, you invited me to F.L.O.C.K. class at Calvary. You welcomed me to the choir. Then you asked me to join you at the Furlow ___ concert and we had lunch before. I'm sorry I'm unable to remember the group's name! I even considered joining them.

If I can be that caring friend and be a help like you have been to me, I'd be pleased. In any event, I will pray for you and your family. May God comfort you as only He can.

Thank you, again for being a blessing to me. To use the motto of Boys/Girls Ranch near my hometown in the Texas Panhandle, you were a "shirttail to hang on to."

Your sister in Christ,
Patsy Clark
