Raymond Michaud Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Feb. 25 to Feb. 28, 2024.
Raymond Michaud, 73, of Orlando, FL entered eternal rest on Feb. 3, 2024. He was born in Edmundston, NB, Canada on Aug. 20, 1950. He was the second child of Normand Michaud and Winette (Rossignol) Michaud. Ray is survived by four brothers; Gilman and his wife, Jean, of Frenchville, ME; Brian and his wife, Crystal, of Irving, TX; Steve and his fiancé, Lena, of Carrollton, TX; Kenneth of St. David, ME, and many nieces and nephews.

Ray earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Special Education from the University of Maine at Farmington.

His career spanned over 40 years which included educating mentally challenged students, customer service, and retail, publication, and pharmaceutical sales.

Ray's solid faith was as strong as they come. He was a devout worshipper and communicant of Faith Assembly in Orlando, FL.

By way of Ray's travels near and far, he was an avid picture-taker and had a keen photographer's eye. He thoroughly enjoyed the beauty a camera lens could capture and would generously share many of his snapshots for all to enjoy.

Generosity was second nature to Ray, often filling people's pantries with food, paying others people's rent or doctor bills and taking folks to dinner at holiday time so they were not lonely. A Celebration of Life service for Ray will be held at Faith Assembly Church, 9307 Curry Ford Rd., Orlando, FL on Thursday, Feb. 29 at 6PM. Family and friends who want to view the live- streamed Celebration of Life service may do so at www.faithassembly.org/live. Livestream begins at 6pm Thursday, Feb. 29.
