RAYMOND J.
On Sunday, May 7, 2006, entered into eternal rest in his 81st year of life and the 56th year of marriage to his loving and caring wife, Jean. Kind and loving father of Nanette and Tim Murphy, Neil and Carol Missig, Nadine and the late Carmen Tripodi, Norine and Rick Doria, Nina and Ron Peterson, the late Nicci Friday, Nita and Jeff Carroll and Noel and JoAnn Missig. Attentive grandfather of Justin, Dominick, Adrian, Ryan, Tess, Danielle, Julian, Tristan, Damian, Bevin, Galen, Alexis, Benjamin, Lauren, Katelyn and Nathan. Great-grandfather of Mia, Max, Matthew and Brynn; also survived by a number of extended family members and brother of Arthur and Janyce Missig and Charles Missig. Ray served as a SeaBee in WW II. A graduate of Baldwin Wallace College, in Berea, OH; retired from Prudential Insurance Co. after 33 years service. Ray was an avid tennis player, golfer and cheerleader for his children's and grandchildren's activities. Friends received at the STEPHEN D. SLATER FUNERAL HOME, 1701 State Route 51, (Large) Jefferson Hills on Tuesday from 2-8pm. Funeral prayer on Wednesday morning at 10:45. Mass of Christian burial in St. Elizabeth Church at 11:30am.
