I´m met Scott when I visited the St. Louis location. Scott was a good person. He was kind, caring, professional and possessed high standards of work ethics. He was a joy to work with on projects. More than that, he loved people and was a true friend.

I have known Scott for about 35 years.
I was fortunate enough to have met him when he wanted a roommate.(twice). Over the years he became my Brother from a different Mother, as well a Brother in Christ.
They say the apple doesn´t fall far from the tree...I had the privilege to work with his Dad..Gerry, and to know the entire Myers's Family.
Scott was one of my best friends in life.
He influenced, guided, inspired, laughed and cried with me.
Scott was extremely unselfish with his time and love, mentoring me for 30 years.
When a tragedy occurred in my family,Scott left his job and family and was by my side in less than 24 hours! My 3 children have always referred to him as "Uncle Scott " and always will.
Everyone who knew Scott, is a richer person!
I didn´t just know Scott well....
I loved him!

Such a privilege to have worked with Scott. A truly amazing person with such talents in videography and so many other areas. He was my travel buddy to many Solutia sites. Scott always had such a can do attitude with everything he did. A person you could always count on with such a humble attitude and passion. I enjoyed listening to him talk about his family. He loved Melissa, his children and grandchildren so much. They were truly the light of his life! I am so blessed to have known Scott. He touched many lives and will be missed. Rest in peace, Scott. Thoughts and prayers are with you, Melissa and your family.

Scott was patient, kind, humble, helpful, and hopeful. In a professional setting that could sometimes be cold, he exuded warmth. It was truly a privilege to have worked alongside him, to have learned from him, and to have called him my friend.

I had the pleasure of working with Scott over a few years while at Eastman and was sad to hear he has left us. I was always so impressed with Scott's depth of knowledge and expertise and sincerely appreciated his collaborative spirit. He was so easy to work with and made every project more enjoyable simply by being involved. Beyond the work, Scott exuded a welcoming demeanor that put anyone engaging with him at ease. He will be missed by many, which is a testament to his impact and a legacy to be proud of.

Scott was such a great and thoughtful colleague. He was always willing to use his gifts to help others. I will forever cherish our projects and special times where we talked about God and love for him. Scott was proud of his relationship with God and welcomed the conversation. He fought a great fight and faith and demonstrated his love to all around. Continued prayers for the family.

I smiled day one when I met Scott and just about every time I saw him, although many times were virtual during our team calls.
Although he retired after my first year with the team, I'll never forget the warm welcome he extended during my early trips to Kingsport and him inviting me into his edit suite for a sit down, get to know you session. He made me feel welcome and his positive energy told me he was a genuinely good person with a deep knowledge and talent for his craft, which I respected tremendously.
His departure from us right now seems really unfair, but we have to trust that Scott was the Angel God needed in heaven - right now.
