NELSON _ Raymond W. January 2, 1933 - July 25, 2007 "If you are reading this you will know that I have left for my next adventure. I do so with anticipation but also with deep regret as I leave behind my wife Merrill and close friends and relatives. By my request no Service or Memorial will be held. Instead when you go outside please take the time to appreciate the sun, trees, etc., and marvel at what we have been given and then do your best to look after it all. If you wish to remember me, please do so by picking up trash and depositing it in the nearest garbage can. This is the only place we have to live. Let's do our best to keep it clean. Finally I wish to thank everyone for all the Pleasure, Joy and Laughter you have given me. Again, thank-you, Bye for now and God Bless." Ray was born in Calgary. He is survived by his wife, Merrill; sisters Doris (Lorne) Huggard, Charlotte Johnston and Laura May (Cal) Huggard; brother Bob (Grace) Nelson; brother-in-law Don Upton, and many nieces and nephews. Ray was predeceased by his parents, Laura and Walter Nelson, and sisters Helen Inverarity, Marjorie Ainsley and June North.
