RAYMOND JOSEPH PHANEUF
March 1, 1927 – May 18, 2017
Ray passed away peacefully with family by his side on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at the age of 90 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Louis-André and Alma; sisters, Bea and Marie; brothers, Louis and Victor. Ray is survived by his loving wife Marian; children, Richard (Valerie) Phaneuf, Theresa King, and Patricia (Charles) Bennett; grandchildren, Andrea (Scott), Christopher (Stephanie), Jonathon, Denys, Gabrielle, Amanda, Andrew, and Anthony; sister Rita; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Ray and Marian proudly celebrated their 65th Anniversary on April 19, 2017. For 42 years, Ray worked at the Co-op Refinery in the process department, as well as volunteered for decades doing bookkeeping at the Holy Rosary Cathedral. He enjoyed working around the house, watching and playing numerous sports, and travelling around the world. Funeral Mass will be held at Christ the King R.C. Parish, 3239 Garnet Street, Regina, SK on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 (TODAY) at 10:00 a.m. Archbishop Emeritus James Weisgerber officiating. Marian, I am so sorry to hear of Raymond's passing. He was always such a kind man to chat with when he would come and pick you up at SGS. I'm sure he will be greatly missed.

So sorry for your loss. I have very fond memories of Uncle Ray. He and Marion came to all our family functions,always with a twinkle in his eye. They were both so good to Rita, his only surviving sister. May you all find comfort and strength in each other.

Marian, Lynn and all of the Phaneuf family. We were very sorry to hear of Ray's passing. We will always remember him as a very gentle and caring person. As a family, you were everything to him and I am sure you will comforted by many good memories of your times together.
