My deepest sympathy to the family of Mr. Sisson. What a wonderful man he was to the many, many, friends of the Village of Addyston. He was truly a blessing in my life. He always had something nice to say and share with me. He will be deeply missed, but God has another special angel in his heavenly home,no doubt.

He was also on the Addyston council for many years. He always ended every meeting after it was adjourned by saying, " I love Addyston" . My Dad, Raymond Harrison Sisson, born October 21, 1918, died the day after Christmas. He was a great guy, and a wonderful, fun father who joked and sang all the time (in typical Sisson fashion). Many of you from Addyston will remember him as "Little Toot" running all over town tooting the horn at everyone he saw, or as your Scout leader in the fifties and sixties. Some of you from Cleves and Hooven will remember him as your baseball coach, and still some of you from Three Rivers School district as president of the school board for many years. The memorial/celebration of his life will be later in the month, as we arrange for family to be present. Don't be too sad for us, he had a great run, and we had him for 97 years!

I have known Mr. Sisson all of my life also. So has my Mother (Carol Jean Beck Hall)
He was her principal. She said is had written books and everything... I know he loved his horn. I will truly miss hearing it. He would always teach me a little more in each of our passings. I will see you Mr. Ray Sisson one Day in the Glory Land. Heaven has another Angel.... My Prayers to the whole family and to the residents and the Village of Addyston... It will never know another man like him.... Love you with so much respect....

Growing up in Addyston everybody knew, or was related to, everybody in town. Ray REALLY knew everybody and most everything else! He was a very proud resident and I loved listening to him recount the history of our 'family' which was Addyston. He will be missed, he was a treasure.

The Sisson home was a big part of my childhood. I so enjoyed visiting their house and seeing things Ray had made. Like the hugh dollhouse and the playhouse in the back yard. But, what I remember most about Ray was his happy whistling. This was wonderful.
I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers to all of you.

My husband Kevin and I are sorry for your loss. In April 2015 we bought the Sisson home in Addyston which we are currently renovating to make our home. We've met a few family members and learned what a hard working caring man Ray was. Wish we could have met him.
