Raymond G. Stadler

Raymond G. Stadler, 82, formerly of Mentor, passed away June 26, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.

Ray was a classic gentleman with a dashing presentation. He was a U.S. Army veteran who proudly served his country. He worked at Reliance Electric for 44 years before retiring in 1999. Blessed with a long and happy retirement, he never stopped dancing to his favorite Polka music. He traveled to NASCAR races and kept up with the sport on TV. Ray enjoyed spending time with his family, being outside maintaining his lawn and in his later years, taking numerous walks with his furry friend, Bailey. Most of all, he enjoyed attending his grandsons school and athletic events and took great pride in all of their achievements

Ray was a loving husband, father, grandfather (G-Pa or Big PaPa) and great grandfather who will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife Margaret (Szuch) Stadler; daughter Suzanne Tetonis and her husband George; son Sean Stadler and his wife Hillary DeNigro of Washington DC. He also leaves behind his five grandchildren, Nicholas, Jared, & Nathan Tetonis and Duncan & Tate Stadler, as well as his step children John Szuch, Chris (Donna) Szuch and Valerie (Tom) Journic. Ray is also leaving behind several step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Josephine Stadler; brother Richard Stadler and sister Patricia Armstrong.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at the Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, OH 44060. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Mentor Cemetery.
