I honestly loved when he took us out to get donuts. It was basically a little tradition. I will really miss those moments

Spending time with family on his birthday

The picture featuring Ray here is the epitome of everything that Ray loved and represented: happiness, family, and love. I could not be more honored to have met and known Ray these last 6-7 years, after first being introduced to him, as one of his daughter´s closest friends. Despite only seeing him a few times a year at family get-togethers, there was never a time that he did not remember our names, which could be a struggle for anyone as we age and time passes, but this is just a testament to Ray´s character and ensuring that people knew they were important to him. He was an amazing father and father-in-law to his daughter Anna and her husband Don, the best of grandpa`s to all of his grandchildren, and the life of any party. His social skills and euchre talents were some of his best attributes, and his kindness was unprecedented. Losing Ray is a great loss for anyone that was so blessed to have encountered his upbeat, optimistic personality that was larger than life. He was loved by so many, and will be missed by all.
We offer our deepest sympathies and all our love.

Thank you for all the little things you always did. I'll never forget our shopping trips, taking the kids for donuts and your home cooked meals to bring everyone together. You were the best father grandfather that I've ever met because you loved your whole heart. You will be missed greatly but never forgotten. I love you so much thank you for being my second dad .
