Raymond Tyler Obituary
Mitchellville - Raymond Earl Tyler, 89, was born October 5, 1928 in Ogden, Iowa, the son of Ernest and Birdie (Hibbs) Tyler. He passed away peacefully Thursday, February 22, 2018 at the VA Hospital in Des Moines.
Raymond's memory will be cherished by his loving wife of 62 years, Marjorie; his daughters, Denise (Tim) Tyler and Vicki (Roger) McConnell; his grandchildren, Cory, Amber (Alex) and Monica (Ben); his great-grandchildren, Alice, Aubrey and Emelia who is due in April; his niece, Sandra (Roy) Crabtree; other loving relatives and many special friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Stoddard, Gwendolyn and Lavina.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12 p.m. Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Hamilton's Mitchellville Funeral Home, 303 Center Ave. S. with inurnment to follow at Mitchellville Cemetery. The family will greet friends Tuesday at the funeral home from 10a.m. to 12p.m. prior to the service.
