Rebecca Horton Archie, 31, of Louisville, Kentucky, former area resident, passed away suddenly at home on February 23, 2011. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Cremation will follow the service. Friends may call from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. In leiu of flowers memorials may be made to the Rebecca Archie Memorial Fund, c/o 1st Source Bank, 1600 Hilltop Rd., St. Joseph, MI 49085. Those wishing to sign Rebecca’s Memory Book online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com. Rebecca was born November 13, 1979 in St. Joseph to Dennis Sr. & Cheryl (Randall) Horton. She graduated from Lakeshore High School in 1998. On August 7, 2010, Rebecca married Travis Archie in St. Joseph. She was a member of the Southeast Christian Church in Louisville. Rebecca cherished the time she spent with her family and friends. She touched many lives during her short lifetime. Rebecca will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Rebecca is survived by her husband Travis; her children-Cody LoPresti, Hannah Wolf, Samantha Richardson; her father Dennis (Jackie) Horton, Sr. of Jeffersonville, IN; her mother Cheryl Horton of St. Joseph; two brothers-Dennis (Annette) Horton, Jr. of Winchester, VA, J. Randy Horton of Berrien Springs; her sister Janet (Bill) Grant of LaGrange, KY; her in-laws-John (Tina) Archie of Benton Harbor, Jody (Scott) Liddick of St. Joseph; her brother-in-law Aaron (Kerri) Archie of Paw Paw, MI; Travis’ grandmother Peggy Jones of St. Joseph; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
