Cookeville - Rebecca Lynn Cadle,74, passed away April 12 in Cookeville, TN, where she had lived since 2022.

Becky was born June 17, 1949 in Lake City, TN to the late Eugene and Helen Freytag, moving to Muncie as a young child. She graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1967.

She retired from Mutual Bank of Muncie in 2015. She worked for Village Pantry Corporate Offices in Fishers, IN for several years and Muncie Federal Savings & Loan. After retirement, she accepted a position with Life Touch Portraits, where she excelled as a Customer Service Representative. During Covid, she began to work remotely and continued after her relocation.

Survivors include her children Brian (Susan) Cadle of Baxter, TN and Joy (Joshua) Wicker of Raeford, NC. Her grandchildren are as follows: Tyler Cadle of Knoxville, TN; Jillian Cadle of Baxter, TN; Savannah, Kinley, Emma and Braelyn Wicker all of Raeford, NC; Rachel (Matt) McIntosh of Lewisburg, OH; Mattie Elam of Frankfurt, Germany and Gerron Elam of Landstuhl, Germany. Two great-granchildren Matthew Jr. and Jackson McIntosh of Lewisburg, OH. A sister Eugenia (Bill) Haisley of Albany, IN and brother Jim Freytag of Muncie, IN.

Becky dearly loved her family, enjoying the role of Nana, attending baseball games and band concerts. She devoted time to her many dachshunds over the years and supported the National Dachshunds Rescue. She will be remembered by family and friends for her loyalty, support and kindness.

A memorial service will be held for family and friends Saturday, June 1 2024 at Integrity Community Church, 356 W. State St. Albany, IN from 1-4.

In lieu of flowers, please send all condolences to the Animal Rescue Fund, 1209 W. Riggin Rd. Muncie, IN 47303.
