Rebecca Marie "Becky" Curry, known for her kind and loving nature, passed away on February 10, 2024, in Gibsonton, Florida, at the age of 36. Becky was born on October 25, 1987, in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Becky, was a devoted mother and is survived by her son Rhys Smith, and his Father Jarrel Smith. She had a zest for life that was truly infectious. She was always seen with a smile on her face, radiating joy wherever she went. She is also survived by and cherished by her father John Curry, mother Kathleen Curry, sister Malynda Curry, half-sister Alana Jo Maynard, half-brother Kenneth Micheal Schaller, and her nieces and nephews and many, many close friends.
Becky found solace in spending time with her son, whom she adored beyond measure. She was a true mermaid at heart, drawn to any body of water, finding peace and joy in the waves. Her passion for singing and dancing brought light to those around her, showcasing her vibrant spirit.
Becky's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May her memory live on through the love and joy she shared with everyone she encountered.

My first memory of Rebecca was the first day I met her in middle school. We stayed friend since middle school. It's sad that I just now finding out about this she will be miss.

She loved my accent and would never say no for a green tea shot , i will forever miss the fact that i can convince you in 2 seconds to go from showtown to cjs . Your smile will always be missed . 2 months of knowing you is to short !
