Four years now and the pain still is as it was when we said goodbye to you. Cannot stop the hurt nor the tears. Its not right that I, the older sister, should lose my baby sister. All I know is God knows why and someday He will tell me. God is my strength for everyday and everything. I could not bear this if I didn't know Jesus. Becky, there are no words ...none...to say how precious, wonderful, giving, loving, and dear you were to everyone....always going out of your way to be a help. If this world had more people like you in it there would be a whole lot less turmoil. I really don't have words to say how broken my heart is and always will be without you.

Mrs. Eve, I wish to introduce myself to you- I am your 6th cousin once removed. We are related through your father's side which traces back to my Rutherford clan. You would be happy to know that many of your distant relatives and our forefathers have been sworn to a life of service to our fellow men. In fact, you have a 6th cousin who is a nurse in San Antonio, another cousin who is a small country town triage doctor here in Florida and my life has been spent in law enforcement, the military, welfare case management and now teaching. I live in Florida. As for your children, I know all too well how hard it is for them as I lost my hero- my Dad from cancer 3 months before my husband and my children's father died from complications of a car accident induced coma. My husband never knew our youngest son. Both Dad and Bob died in 1998. And though the old saying is time heals wounds - some wounds seem to never close completely. If your children should ever need a strong shoulder I offer mine to them. Always and forever family. Sweet dreams My lady.

In 3 days it will be 18 months since I said goodbye to you and my heart is as heavy now as it was then. We learn to live with tragedy and heartaches as Carol said, but the pain never goes away. Because you were the sweetest and loveliest person ever to live on this earth you are so sorely missed by many. Angela can't talk and say "mom" without crying. We would not have wanted you to stay on this cruel earth and suffer as you did any more so we are trying everyday to exist without you. I love you my baby sister and you're in my heart and mind forever.

Becky was my best friend while we both were going through chemo, I was three treatments ahead of her and still remember the stories we would tell each other. I still remember the first day she started her treatment, she was the most loving person, along with her sister who always accompanied her to treatments, I will always Love her, rest in peace my friend.

As I viewed all of Becky's beautiful pictures, I prayed for the God of Heaven to touch her family with His Mighty Hand and comfort you all with His Peace that passes all understanding. We prayed so many prayers but God chose to bring her healing on the other side. Even though we don't understand, we trust in God and believe she is now being sheltered in His Arms. With continual love, thoughts and prayers for all the family in the days to come, God bless you all. From the POWH family.

I remember Becky from when I was 12 years old! I am Rosie McCormick's little sister. Becky was like another sister! She helped me fix my hair and get pretty for my first dance! She was patient and so sweet! She let me "tag along" with her and Rosie, and Ethel! She was fun and so sweet! Beautiful!

Becky was my sister-in-law for over forty years. She was a beautiful person on the inside and outside, always thoughtful and considerate. What a heartbreaking loss for us all. I'm sure she will be right at home among the angels.

My heart will never be the same but I thank God for the honor and priviledge of having you for my baby sister. I love you more than words can say and I will remember our lives together with each passing day. Sometimes I will cry and sometimes I will laugh; especially when I look at the pillow you gave me that reads "I smile because you're my sister; I laugh because there's nothing you can do about it". Oh how we laughed about that...it is my treasure. I read this poem (Three Sisters) and I felt it was you talking to me and Carol. Be watching from heaven for me because I will be coming to see you.
Three Sister's
We are three sisters
Three sisters are we
I love each of you,
And I know you love me
We're no longer together,
Life has kept us apart.
But we'll never be separated
We're in each other's heart.
Now I know we've had our troubles,
But we always got thru.
The real message is you love me,
And I'll always love you.
We have had lots of good times
That we'll never forget
Sometimes we worry
And sometimes we fret
But if God ever gave me
Something special you see,
It has been the blessing of,
Three sisters are we.
The Lord above gave me lots
Of happiness and glee
But the most special thing he did was
Make us sisters, all three.

God saw the road was getting rough, the hill was hard to climb. He gently closed her loving eyes and whispered, "Peace Be Thine".
A bright and beautiful soul took flight, and left her earthly body, at peace at last.
May God bless and surround this precious family with His peace, that passes all understanding.

Becky was a kind and gentle soul. Becky was always upbeat and friendly. Her smile could brighten any day. Becky brought a ray of sunshine into the lives of everyone she met. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord; and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen.

Becky was that shining star to our group of Special Friends. Her sweet spirit and joyous laughter will live on -- through her husband, children, grandchildren, sisters and all of Becky's Buddies. I know you were welcomed home with open arms by our Lord and your heavenly family. May God continue to comfort and may memories of you live on forever.

Our world doesn't even know how much we are going to miss you... you had such an impact on my younger life just like a big sister. And as you got older, you spread your joyousness and happiness to everyone. Give hugs to all our family that left before us... and just know your spirit will live on forever. Rest in peace.

We have lost a sweet soul on this earth. I have been Becky's friend since the 5th grade & she has been a joy to know. I love her like a sister. I have alot of wonderful memories of our friendship. She has always been a very giving friend. There is a hole in my heart no one can fill. I just want to send my love & prayers to her husband Ken, daughters Tara & Angela, to all of her grandchildren who she adored & her sisters Brenda & Carol.
