Rebecca Houde Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 15, 2024.
Rebecca Lynne Houde (Beaulieu), known to anyone she met as Becca, passed away on May 11, 2024 after a battle with alcohol addiction and mental health struggles. But to those who loved her, she was not defined by her illnesses.

Born November 18, 1985 in Dover, NH. She grew up in Somersworth inside a house filled with family. She was always soft spoken, quiet and kind and made friends everywhere she lived including her time in Watertown, NY; Puyllap, WA; and Colorado Springs, CO.

She loved rainy days and the San Francisco 49ers more than anything, sparkling pink eyeshadow, glitter on everything, fun colors of nail polish, positive affirmations, hearts and NOTHING chocolate.

Becca was always happy to spend time with her close knit family. They loved playing games together and spent countless hours over BINGO, Life, Scrabble, Phase 10, and many many others. They also always enjoyed summers and spending time floating on White Lake or walking the shore and jumping the waves at Wells Beach (a few of their favorite spots.)

Becca's brightest joy was her children. She loved every moment with them and regularly boasted about their accomplishments and funny antics. They all share her humorous side and keep everyone smiling. They shared many "snap chat" moments laughing and sending lots of fun photos that will be cherished for a lifetime.

Amidst her own struggles, Becca always found time to encourage and support others with their own battles. She supported many Mental Health awareness groups and always found time to listen and encourage everyone. Something she always found solstice in was long nature walks with her mom and kids.

She is survived by her 3 adoring children; Joseph (17), Stephen (13), and Lillian (8); her very close grandmother, Yvonne Roussell; her mother, Sharon Stroud and step father, Gary Stroud; her dad, Marc Beaulieu; her sister, Kristina Beaulieu; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and many very loved cousins.

A celebration of life is being planned in her honor. A Go Fund me is also being set up to help her family with ongoing expenses as this loss was so unexpected. Both things will be posted in her Facebook page.
