Rebecca Jancek Kushner passed away quietly on August 30, 2022 in Bradenton, FL. She was 75 years old. Born December 12,1946 in Natrona, PA, Rebecca, “Beckie” was a 1964 graduate of St. Joseph High School in Natrona. She earned a Master’s degree in Education from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh and taught in several elementary and high schools in Natrona Heights, PA, and Bradenton, FL.
Rebecca is survived by her devoted and loving son, Matthew Kushner and ex-husband, Robert Kushner both of Bradenton, a sister, Norene Yandura of Natrona Heights, a sister, Michaela Jance and a brother, Ronald Jancek, both of New York State and nephews, Christopher and Vincent Yandura.
Rebecca was preceded in death by her father, Stephen Jancek, infant twin sister, Roberta Jancek, grandmother, Mary Jancek Lisko Briestensky and aunt, Irene (Jancek) Wygonik and Sister Mary Augusta Jancek, a nun with the Vincentian Sisters of Charity.
Beckie was an energetic person and a lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic churches in Natrona and Bradenton. She enjoyed music, dining out, reading, spending quality time with her son and watching religious programs on television.

So sorry to hear of Beckie's passing. I went to Catholic school with Beckie and enjoyed many visits to her house. I can remember praying the rosary many times during these visits. God bless you, Beckie. It was great to have known you.
