Rebecca Marin

Rebecca Marin was born on May 22, 1957 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Rebecca spent her childhood years living on military bases around the world. She had especially great memories of the time she spent in Okinawa, Japan. When her family returned to the US, they settled in Fairfield, California. She went on to graduate from University of California Davis. After graduating, Rebecca worked for the Social Security office in Sacramento, California. She later became a computer programmer and worked on programs to help people quit smoking. Rebecca then decided to go back to school to become a teacher and began teaching Spanish. Rebecca loved life and had lots of fun exploring her newly adopted state of Michigan with her husband, Bob. Sadly, she passed away unexpectedly from Covid-19 complications. One of Rebecca's greatest joys was the birth of her grandson, Anthony, in the fall. Rebecca is preceded in death by her mother, Xochitl, and her brother, Roman. She is survived by her husband Bob, daughters Rebecca and Raquel, her grandson Anthony, her father Roman, her brothers Ed (Mary), Richard (Dana) and Robert (Barbara), and numerous Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
