Rebecca Mark Rebecca Mark, 89, of Nampa, Idaho went to be with her Lord, having passed away peacefully on Sunday, Oct. 21, 2007 at Karcher Estates Therapy Facility, in Nampa, Idaho. In celebration of her life, a funeral service will be held in Baker City, Ore. on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2007 at 10 a.m. at Coles Funeral Home. Pastor Rich Mark will preside over the ceremonies. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery with a reception to follow at the Baker Church of the Nazarene fellowship hall. Rebecca was born Nov. 12, 1917 in Endicott, Wash. and was reared and educated in Camas, Wash. She married Richard H. Mark on June 12, 1939 after having met at the Crown Zellerback paper mill in Camas where they both were employed. With two young children they moved to Nampa, Idaho in 1945 to be close to Christian schools and Northwest Nazarene University. They raised six children in the Nampa area on a 35-acre farm with plenty of horses, cows and other farm animals to keep the children busy. Rebecca was passionate about her children, music, flowers, gardening and serving her Lord. She loved the hymns of the church and hearing anointed messages from God's Word. She is survived by her six children, Becky (Byron) Henry of Baker City, Richard (Tamee) Mark of Nampa, Dan (Linda) Mark of Baker City, Leona (Al) Knapp of Nampa, David (Eva) Mark of Bellevue, Wash. and Lynn (Joe) Roberts of Culver, Ore., 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Mary (Marvin) Meyer of Nampa, Florence (Don) Eby of Vancouver, Wash.and two brothers, Col. John (Annette) Morasch, and Dr. Daniel (Leah) Morasch, both in Vancouver. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, both parents, John and Anna Morasch, four sisters, Anna, Pauline, Lill and Elizabeth, a brother, Conrad, and three young grandchildren, Kevin Henry, Wendee Mark, and Clinton Knapp. The family extends appreciation to Grace Assisted Living, Mercy Hospital and Karcher Estates for their gentle loving care and concern shown to Rebecca. In lieu of flowers the family would like memorials made to the Baker Church of the Nazarene, P.O. Box 665, Baker City, Or 97814.
