I did not know her, she sounds like she was a peaceful soul. I wish i met her. Her maiden name is the same as mine, and her features a familiar. I used to live nearby some decades ago. I wonder how we were related. So sorry for your loss!

My deepest sympathies to the Baxter Family on the loss of Betsy. She was a gentle, and caring individual and a valued team member of the Free Library of Philadelphia. I enjoyed the years that I was able to work with her in the Northeast.

Sending my condolences to the Baxter Family! I worked with Betsy over the last several years she was a very gracious Lady and Librarian always open to new ideas as to the daily operations at Coleman Regional Library. She implemented a lot of healthy meals programming and fitness sessions that always attracted a lot of community patrons as well as my attending.
Betsy, always created such wonderful designed posted broad depicting month celebrations days or weeks in the adult dept.
When we would have our holiday gala once yearly Betsy, made such delicious home made bread with olive oil & olives that was a special treat to us all.
Most of all her spirit of team work and my personnel relationship will truly be missed.
As a lot of Southerner like myself would say, "Go om Mrs. Betsy take your rest we all love you but GOD love you the best may you rest in eternal peace!
With love and sympathy,❤❤❤
