I have so many fond memories of Becky in our teen years. Even then, we knew she was super talented. And she was so generous with her musical gifts! I´m so sorry to read of her passing.

Becky was a great friend growing up. She obviously was extremely talented and a joy to be around. I am sad to read of her passing. Condolences to Jenny and Stephany.

I have cherished memories of playing with my cousins Becky and Jenny at our grandparents' home. Our grandmother would make us matching outfits for holidays. Also many wonderful times at the lookout where my grandparents volunteered at in the summers. We'd camp in very primitive quarters and wandered freely through the forest and down to Fallen Leaf Lake or Angora Lakes. Becky was a talented musician and until her obituary I had no idea the variety of gigs she played. I know she loved her family and I will miss her. Margaret Stauffer

Although I did not have a personal relationship with Rebecca, I will always remember her as a brilliant and gifted violinist with an outstanding career performing with major symphony orchestras in the United States and Europe. Her sister shared many updates about her work and I know that she is greatly missed by her loving partner Stephany and family. The loss of a treasured and cherished family member is not something that simply goes away but I know that Rebecca will be remembered in terms of her musical legacy and commitment to humanitarian causes. May she rest in power.

Here are a few photos of my beloved and wonderful little sister, as a radiant toddler, sweet schoolgirl, beautiful graduate, and more. She was darling, sweet, bubbly, full of curiosity and ready for fun and adventure. Music was a huge part of her life, but she enjoyed people and treasured her friends and family. Besides her beloved Stephany, she had many friendships with musicians and colleagues in New York and in California. She also formed a nurturing friendship with a lovely family from the Dominican Republic through answering a letter to Santa, and they became a significant and cherished part of her and Stephany´s life. The kids seen with Becky in the photo are grownups now. Becky loved nature and is pictured here at Lake Tenaya on a 1970´s family camping trip in Yosemite National Park.
