I think of the memories of the time we spent at NAB with my sister Barbara Laurence who is now departed.

"Rebecca the lasting Rose"

Our lives are like so many forests
How many there are no one knows
You need to stop looking at trees
To enjoy what is in front of you
Witness the beauty that is free
Closed eyes see the fragrances
Each can enhance future in ways
Love can be, you will see one day

Relationships are like the flowers
With many lives passing through
Just how long will the heart last
No one can tell, or really knows
As the bee does spread the pollen
You did so touch everyone around
Each waiting for the right chance
To show how brilliant they bloom

Love's pollen blooming from rose
So when it bloom it touches many
Your smiles surely erase the past
Someday all, you will see at-last
Sharing, makes everyone excited
To have it wither, we'd rather not see

My condolences to your family, and loved ones. Such a caring and nice person. May you rest in peace.

Even though I only met Rebecca once, from the first and only I could feel that she was the one to light up the room. And especially with the way her daughter, my good friend Lyndsay, talked about her, I just knew that she was an amazing person. I got to know Rebecca through Lyndsay. And the way she talked with such pride. I knew she was so proud to be Rebecca's daughter. Rebecca got to live the last couple years of her life expressing who she truly was. Her spirit will live on through the memories that her family and friends hold dear. I got to meet her once and to this day I feel so honored to have met such an amazing person. Rest in Peace Rebecca.

Rebecca will always be remembered as the shining star that would light up a room. A strong and courageous woman of integrity. Wonderful father and great friend. You will be missed and in our thought daily. Our deepest sympathy to your family and all loved ones. I was so blessed in life to have you as my friend and confident - I will always be grateful. Rest in peace my friend.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Even in the sadness of losing Rebecca, we pray the memories we shared will help us all to ease the sorrow.
