Conrad and I will always remember "Manny" from the times I prayed the rosary with him and Rose at daily mass at St. Peter's even before they were married, to all the evenings we had at choir rehearsals. He had a great sense of humor, and a strong devoutness to the Lord which I admired. It was said by St. Augustine that "when you sing you pray TWICE". That was "Manny". When I first started learning Spanish he wrote down the words for "God Bless You" in Spanish for me. I still have that slip of paper in my prayer book.. and it has followed me to Maine. To "Manny".."QUE DIOS TE BENDIGA". We will always think of you when and wherever we sing in choir, even up here in maine, and during our next Mass Conrad's and my songs will be with you. To Rose, we send our condolences and prayers, and pray that in your grief and through your tears that the rainbow of happy memories the two of you shared will help comfort you in your sorrow.
We will never forget "Manny" and when we visit DeLand next month and visit the choir we will certainly feel the "emtpy space". As our choir director up here in Maine always prays before Mass: "God send the angels to fill in the empty spaces" well,"Manny", you are now one of those angels!
"Que Dios te Bendiga!"

Love,
Glenda & Conrad Armandi

Manny was a loving husband to my sister and a great friend to my family. I will always appreciate the way he cared for her during their marriage and especially during her illness and death. I will keep him in my prayers. My condolences to Rose Marie, his brothers and sisters, and his many friends.
