Rebecca Thorpe Obituary

Rebecca "Becky" H. Thorpe, the "Pretty Sister", passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Intermountain Medical Center in Utah due to respiratory issues. She was surrounded by family and friends in her final moments.
Becky was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Nina; her mother-in-law, Conné; her brother-in-law, Ricky; and her grandson, Matthew. She is survived by her husband, George; her daughter, Teresa (Greg); her son, Mike (Amanda); and her father-in-law, Dick. She also leaves behind her sisters, Sue, Claudia Jean, and Jayme; her brothers, Clark, Corey, and David; as well as her sisters-in-law, Peggy, Cindy, Christy, and Connie Jo. Becky was a beloved grandmother to eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at the IMC Cardiac ICU for their compassionate care and professionalism during this difficult time.
A celebration of life open house will be held at her son Mike's home in Syracuse, UT, on Sunday, March 9, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Those who wish to honor Becky's memory are welcome to attend.

Hey moms, haven´t written in a bit-that´s me. We´ve opened up the coffee trailer, and boy I wish you could see it. I miss you all the time but now grandpa is back to having lunch with you daily, since say hi for me. In two days you´ll have been gone 6 months and it just doesn´t feel the same here without you. Dad is having a rough go, but he is ok.

Hey mom, it´s dad and your annuversary today. I know wherever your spirit is, and I believe it´s too strong to not exist somewhere, you´re watching over us, but we miss you so much. Especially pop, but especially me, and everyone. I hope you had a chance to let dad know you were thinking of him today, he´s thinking of you.
PS you were supposed to be in the peppermill luxury suite playing pai gow , drinking, and letting dad have your winnings tonight, damnit

Becky was a good neighbor and friend. She was full of energy and always fun to be around. She kept things exciting in the neighborhood and included everyone in her circle of friends. Great memories. She will be missed but never forgotten. Becky will be missed but never forgotten.

Our family has fond memories of Becky. Her quick smiles, laughing eyes, and caring touch. She was always happy to greet us and share her happy moments. She will be missed but will always have a fond spot in our hearts. Condolences to the family.

Grandma was the most wonderful person to be around. always smiling and laughing with the people around her. whether it was her asking if my knees were cold from wearing ripped jeans in the winter or us joking about her dry cookies it was always a fun time around her. one of the first memories i have of her was when we were visiting and she sent her toast back 4 times because she could still see the butter. she was unapologetically herself and i´ll never forget that. love and miss you
