Caroline, my heart goes out to you and your family on the loss of your mother. Such an enormous loss, and it leaves a huge void.

It's true, though, that time is a great healer and I hope that with time, you'll feel her absence less, and begin to feel her presence around you.

From the lovely obituary that you wrote and the moving eulogy by Dr. Peele, it's obvious that your mother was a special person, passionate and vibrant, and loved by many. And it's also clear that you share many of your mother's qualities.

So she lives on, in you and through you--and she will always be with you.
