Dear family , I also was a classmate of Reed and we sat next to each other in 6th grade at Edwin D. Smith Elementary. He had the nicest smile and gave me a lovely Valentine.
One day we got in trouble for talking during a test! I send my deepest condolences. Reed was certainly a very accomplished individual!!

Dr. Bergen and family, I am a former classmate of Reed's from Oakwood. I am very sorry to hear of Reed's passing. I was in contact with him through Linkedin when we were planning our 50th high school class reunion. I remember Reed from grade school and high school. I apologize I do not have a specific memory to share with you, I remember him as being very friendly. I pray he did not have a lengthy illness prior to his death. From what I read, it appears as though he had a very nice family and successful career. I have forwarded the announcement via email to his classmates to make them aware. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. May he rest in peace. Rene' Arnold Anderson, classmate and reunion committee chairperson.
