REGINALD ELDON 'REG' JEWELL Passed away at The Golden Plough Lodge, Cobourg on Wednesday, May 13, 2009. Reg Jewell was a retired funeral director who served in Toronto, Cobourg and Trenton, Past Grand Senior Warden of the Grand Lodge A.F. & A.M. of Canada in the Province of Ontario and a Paul Harris Fellow of the Rotary Club. Reg was the beloved husband of Lynda Everest and loving father of Sara (Dwayne Mattinson) and Araminta (Jason Montague). Dear Papa of George, Mimi, Natan and Vincent and brother of Donald Jewell, Mary Hoskins, John Jewell and Garry Jewell. Friends will be received at St. Paul's Chapel of St. Peter's Anglican Church, 240 College Street at King Street East, Cobourg on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in St. Peter's Church Monday 11 a.m. If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made by cheque to St. Peter's Anglican Church or the Canadian Wildlife Federation. My sympathies to Lynda, Sara and Araminta and families. Reg has been a long time family friend. He was best man at my parents wedding. (Ken and Edna Waldie). Reg and Ken both grew up in Fenella, Ontario
He will not be forgotten.

My deepest condolences to Sara, Lynda and Araminta. I had the pleasure of meeting Reg in Pugwash Point several years back while visiting Sara; he made such an impression on me.

Condolences are also expressed by other friends locally who had enjoyed and followed Sara's online writings about her dogs and her family.
