I was at mom's (Rita Power) today when the email came in. Mom remembered two times when Reg and her worked together. First was in Mount Stewart at Dr. Martin's and then in Winsloe at Campbell's. Mom was working first at Dr. Martin's and recommended Reg and later Reg was working at Campbell's and recommended Mom.

reg was the closest person i had to a grandfather, he was a very kind man and took such good care of mary. When she passed away i felt like i lost one of my own grandparents, i also miss her. I didnt know about reg until a couple of months ago because i have moved to canada. I meant to stop by in july when i was down but only had a 24 hour trip, but even then i would have been to late, that maked feel really sad i did not get to see him in a long time and saw him 5 or 6 days a week for years. I love you reg and will miss you so much you wont know what you both meant to me. For his daughters you should be very proud of the care you gave both of your parents

I am very sorry for the loss of Reggie. He was such a nice man. Please forgive the lateness of this but I didn't know and rode by the house to see a for sale sign. So I checked the obits. I will always remember him and Mary.

Uncle Reg was a wonderful man. He was always so happy to see us anytime we visited. I remember him giving playing cards to the kids after we played cards with him on one visit a long time ago. He is watching down from heaven now enjoying his reward for being a true and faithful servant. Love to all the family. Isabel and Kerry Quinn and family

Anyone who knew Reg Kelly knows what a fine man he was, they don't come any finer. He will be sorely missed by his family, friends and community.
One of the stories my mom, Rita tells is when Uncle Reg came home from the war on the train his brother went to meet him and he wasn't getting off the train and he was waiting and waiting still no sign of Reg, he was getting worried that he had missed the train. He was the last soldier off that train because he was making sure that everyone else was alright. That's just the kind of man he was.
My thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones.

I remember Reggie having that down-to-earth personality....the kind of man that anyone could sit and have a true conversation with. He'll always be in the hearts of all that were privileged to have spent even a little time with him. Here's to Reg! We'll always love you!

Reggie Kelly was a great friend of mine. They don't come much better! I will miss his tremendously. He was so proud of the family he raised and all of their accomplishments.
I would like to thank Reggie for serving his country. He fought in World War II and was in the Invasion of Normany. Truly a remarkable individual.
Our thoughts are with you all right now.
Love,
Chester and Gip Dalton
