I first met Reg through a mutual friend and I knew him from the work he did on my vehicle. He always did good work, was very professional and at the same time, Reg was always friendly, personable and a pleasure to talk to. I just read of Reg's passing [1st week of January 2012] and I'm saddened to have read such news. This really hits home with me as I lost my father, an uncle - the same age as Reg - and other relatives to cancer. Our hearts, thoughts and prayers go out to Reg's family and friends. He was a good man and will be dearly missed.

It was really unfortunate to hear of Reg's passing. I first met Reg when he he worked at Western Corvette. We used to hang out and listen to Playground zone or chat for hours on cars and the stock market. He always was a great guy...I still miss going to visit him at his garage. Cam and Anna Young.

I met Reg in High school in the Auto shop, he was working on his 1964 Ford and were instant friends. After high school when Reg's parents moved to Baniff, Reg moved into my parents basement. We spent many hours and weekends building and tinkering on our cars in Dads garage and it always always involved a beer or two. Reg and I raced together back in the Shepperd raceway days and always had a great time. Reg will be sadly missed by myself and every one that had the honor to meet him.

It is with a very saddened heavy heart that I am saying goodbye to my true and cherished friend Reg that I have known for over 30 years. I will truely miss our firendship, many conversations and especially our vietnamese dining experiences we share so many times. You will be missed by all of us whom you touched our hearts in so many ways. Sweet dreams young man, may you breath many long clean breathes and may the green lights on heavens many race tracks be the brightest you have ever seen. Race on Champ, race on !!!!! The last time I say Reg he said his favorite saying as I left "It is what it is" as I blew him a kiss and a wink. Shelley and family, my sincere condolences on this great loss. Reg will be greatly missed.

I worked for Reg when air conditioning work was required but really just loved going over there just for the Saturday afternoon conversations. We also taught at SAIT, where Reg always added his joyful humour and his wittiness in the class and with his collegues. I lost a great friend and will miss him

Reggie was a special friend to us and he is going to be missed so much. He always made us smile no matter what was going on. We were lucky enough to get to know Reggie in our racing but also outside of racing as we spent time camping and exploring with him and he made all our outings special. I'm going to miss our phone conversations and especially our birthdays. Thank you Reggie for being part of our life & for allowing us to be part of yours, we love you.

Reg and I met at the Seattle Divisional in '04 and from that point forward we became good race buds and he always unselfishly shared track info that helped make me a better racer. At camp side he shared stories and antidotes that helped make me a better person. Reg, you left the line way too early, you WILL be missed.

We met Reg over 10 years ago at Mission Raceway, along with Guy of Nasty Fish racing. To make a long story short we have cherished Reg's friendship since and when we knew he would be at the race track we always made sure we had more than enough of his favorite snack on hand, popcorn!! lol.
We will cherish being a witness to his BIG WIN in Seattle, at the 2010 NHRA National event. Considering he just finished his chemo treatment before the race he persevered and won, to the delight of his many friends and fans.
We will miss you Reg.
Our sincerest condolences to his family and MANY friends.
