Our hearts are filled with sadness and tears but our memories are filled with smiles and laughter of the good times we shared over the years with Ray. He was a great man. He was kind, caring, and humble.
We don't know how to ease your pain. However, we wish you peace and comfort as well as the courage to face the days ahead. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Words are not enough to express the sadness we feel about Ray's untimely death. We are here to support you in your grieving process. With sincere sympathy, may beauty live on in your memories and bring you peace.

GOD BLESS YOU brother. I wish your family the best during this difficult time. We had good times together at work, sometimes arguing back and forth but all in good fun. Ray had a good sense of humor and always ready to laugh or comeback with a wise crack.
We had fun playing softball, drinking some beers and at work joking around.
I always tell people Ray was very good at his job. I only wish I could come close as a troubleshooter. You will be in good company with other friends that have departed. I know it wasn't much time but I am happy you did get to enjoy retirement for a while. You deserved to enjoy the fruits of your labor. Rest in peace brother.

Ray was an absolute gentleman! He'd walk my elderly Mom across the street and dote on her as if she was family! She is griefstricken with the news of Ray's passing! I truly send my deepest condolences to Ray's wife Gloria, his children and all those near and dear to him.
What can I say about Ray? Well, we met over 35 years ago when I joined Con Ed as a General Utility Worker. It was a time when women were not readily accepted in the field. Despite this, Ray always treated me with great kindness! And this I will never forget. He was a terrific mechanic and troubleshooter and was willing to share his knowledge. In 2000, he thought about becoming a supervisor and we worked together once again when I returned to the Bronx to help out. He hated all the "paperwork" and wanted to get back to "hands on." Last year, when I told Ray I was retiring, he said he would come to my party. I told him it's too far to travel from Vegas. But he said he would be there. And yes...he was there! Ray was always a straight shooter, a man of his word; he knew how to laugh and was such a great guy.
