Reinold Boettcher Obituary
Professionally, Reinie was a respected Mechanical Design Engineer, known for his meticulous attention to detail.
Beyond his professional and military accomplishments, Reinie was a passionate hobbyist. He found joy in woodworking, (there is not a room in his house without something he made in it), designing and building model cars, and camping. His family fondly remembers him for his "Sunday afternoon racing naps," a cherished tradition that allowed him to relax and recharge.
Reinie is survived by his loving wife, Lynn Boettcher; daughters, Brenda Anderson and Krista Boettcher; brother, Wayne Boettcher; and sister-in-law, Wendy Boettcher. His presence will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by his family and all who knew him.
The family would like to thank The Neptune Society and Sunset Memorial Gardens in Machesney Park for their assistance.
Reinie's life will be celebrated and remembered for his contributions to his country, his field, and the joy he brought to his family and friends.

I was blessed to have Reinie as my mentor. He was a wonderful boss, family friend, and Grandpa to Senica. We will hold many memories in our hearts of him.

Reinie and my husband, Dan, worked very hard creating the floor plan for the annual Bethlehem Market Place at Beth Eden Methodist Church! He had such a great eye for detail and drawing the plan which was so intricate and complete, it could be a work of art!

I have a million memories of my father. Daddy was a great man and I hold every man I meet up to him for comparison. He helped my saint of a mother in melding me into the loving good person I´ve become. I´m a lucky girl to have had him for a Dad. I will miss him and hold him close to my heart for the rest of my life. I´m glad you´re at peace.
I love you Daddy.
