He was a wonderful man--very caring and kind. He allowed me to go forth with my life that might not have been possible without him.

The Woolhouse family is deeply saddened, to hear of the passing of Dr. Rene Crepeau. We just learned of this sad news and regrettably missed paying our respects. My father, Fred Woolhouse, thoroughly enjoyed teaching, mentoring and working with Rene. They shared a passion for their work in Reconstructive Surgery, Craniomaxillofacial problems and Cleft Palates. We have many fond memories of the tutorial sessions spent at our home where the art and science of plastic surgery was studied and pioneered. Our deepest sympathies to the Crepeau family from the Woolhouses'.

To my sorrow I did not know of Rene's death until today, so missed paying my respects to him and his family at his service. He was a dear friend and much respected colleague of my late husband, who enjoyed many years of professional association with him. My deepest sympathies to his family on their loss of a wonderful doctor and man.

I am deeply saddened to hear of the loss of such a great man. Dr. Crepeau has operated on me from birth until my very late 20's. Born with only 2 blue eyes and a lower lip, he helped to give me a face to go with my personality. I obviously never enjoyed having to go through many years of torture but, my doctor made it fun. My wife told me of his passing today and it crushed me. I am so glad to have know such a kind, funny, caring person and I am so thankful for the gift he gave me. He gave me a life. My sincerest, deepest condolences to Dr. Crepeau's family. You will be missed and again, Thank You.

To the family and friends, it is with great sadness that I heard of the passing of this close colleague as a Plastic Surgeon and a Craniofacial surgeon myself. He had trained with Dr.Paul Tessier in France and coming back he was one of the first one in Canada to proceed with Craniofacial Surgery still very challenging surgeries at the time.
All the McGill University (MUHC) Plastic Surgery group is sad of his passing and he will not be forgotten from his contributions: pediatric and adult.
Sincere Condolences and Warm Regards, Dr.Lucie Lessard MD, FRCSC, FRCSC, FACS, Chief, Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, Pediatric & Adult, MUHC and McGill University, [email protected]

Such a loss to the medical world. He operated on my Son's cleft lip and palate 38 years ago. I will always remember his gentle hands when touching my son's face and explaining very quietly what he was going to do. Today my son is a very handsome man thanks to Dr Crepeau.

Deepest condolences to the Crepeau family
