René PILON

I would like to offer the Doyle's Family condolences to Mr. Pilon Family. He was our Gym Teacher and a really nice guy who always pushed us to do better.

My deepest sympaties to the pilon family and friends. I met Birdie" when I paddled at LRCC for a couple of years in the mid to late 60's. He was such a nice guy and always had a smile on his face.
He left us all with great memories.

My most sincere condolences to the Pilon family, in their time of grief. Mr. Pilon was such a great teacher, and motivator. He helped many to conquer their fears, and instill confidence, in our young lives.

My deepest sympathies to the family. Rene will always be remembered for his passion in canoeing. He will be missed by many .

Birdie was a great inspiration pushing his crew to win Canadian Junior Four Championship in 1959. He went on to be a great paddler coach and friend.

So sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. He will be greatly missed.

I had the privilege of teaching with Rene in the late 60's. His enthusiasm, his athleticism and his devotion to his students was remarkable. Filled with joy, he was a delight as a colleague and generous as a friend.
