Rena Lewis Obituary
Muncie - Rena Lewis, 53, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2016.
Rena was employed at Walmart and held the position as cashier for four years.
She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Georgetta Hawkins; two daughters, Bianca Lewis of El Paso, TX, and Rukiya Lewis of Hampton, VA; one brother, Chris Lewis of Muncie, IN; her sisters, Mavis (Myron) Turner, Mitzi Lewis Howell, and Daphne Connell, all of Muncie; one grandchild, Hayden Brodie; special friends, Pammy Carter, Penny Carter, and Debbie Clemins; and a special companion, Dewayne Benning.
She was preceded in death by her father, Theodore Lewis; and her brothers, Kino Lewis, Keith Lewis, and Benard Lewis.
Services will be at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Gholar & Gholar Funeral Services. Burial will be at Beech Grove Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Gholar & Gholar Funeral Services, 900 East Kirby Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47302.

My condolences to Rena's family. She had such an amazing spirit that would make you smile even when you didnt want to. May God bless her children with strength and peace during this difficult time. Rena you will definitely be missed BUT never forgotten. Fly High Hunty.....

To Mother Ruth, Chris, Mavis, Missi & Rena's Entire Family. The Wilkerson's send their deepest condolences & prayers to all of You. Our family goes way way back when we were just little ones and My Mom, Juanita & Mother Ruth bowl together. We would all be in one car traveling to Bowl-O-Mat, no Liberty Bowl. My hearts goes out to you all and Rena was truly a Beautiful Woman and & always would take the time to acknowledge, show love to me. A true Friend.
