Holding Noelle and her family in love and healing light. While I did not know Rene, the light and warmth and kindness that shines through her daughter touch me deeply. Blessings to all who know and love Rene, may you know that one day, you will again be able to breathe. May you feel compassion and care, presence and kindness.

So sorry for your loss. Yes she was a kind soul. She took me in couple times when I was doing my craziness when I chose to be homeless. I will always thank her for tht.

May she rest in peace and be remembered through those around. Good is pleased with her and Ik she is in heaven cheering and loving.

I'm so sorry to hear of this. I attended leadership training with Rene and was very inspired by her courage and forthrightness.

Rene came to me a grieving mother reaching her hand out to another. Her Jett and my Oren bound our families together in ways so meaningful and mysterious that our souls must have had lifetimes together and knew we would need each other in this one. I will miss you my dear courageous shining light- you, whose resilience and power always inspired me, my late wife, and our children on, dancing on the broken glass of addiction and illness, grief and loss, but being able to find the beauty in that brokenness and set it right again in a mosaic of wonder. Our hearts are forever with Dannee, Noelle, Emerson, and Stephanie. -Tanya, Alana, D. Rene, and Cedar (and Lavender, Sam, Oren, and Miriam who are closer to her now beyond the veil.)

Meeting her outside Steep n Brew on State Street when she was 19. We became roommates and life-long chosen family. I have so much gratitude for having had Rene in my life. Thank you dear friend for everything, especially your poetry and the lovely human daughters you brought into the world.
