Rev. Benjamin Patterson Obituary
Ben lived and worked in the Wise, VA area for many years. He served in the Army for seven years and was stationed in Japan, Korea, and Germany. Ben served as a pastor of the Church of God in Dante, VA before he and Mary moved to Ohio where he preached for over 30 years and he retired from Whirlpool, Corp in Clyde, Ohio.
Ben is survived by his loving wife of 75 years, Mary A. Patterson, of Wise, VA.
Son, Ed (Lori) Patterson and children, Rachel, Kelly (Chase), Christopher (Logan), Kyle (Jessica), Cameron (Carrie).
Son, Gordon Patterson (Lee) and his children, Erin (Tripp), Jennifer, and Melissa.
Daughter, Vivian Denise Damron's children, Joshua, Meri, and Keri.
Daughter, Anna Christine Weaver (Dennis) and their children, Alyssia Kobasic (Richard) and Michael.
Also many great-grandchildren, and a multitude of nieces and nephews.
Ben is preceded in death by four brothers, four sisters, a daughter Denise Damron and grandson, Todd Matthew Patterson.
