Rita and families I am sorry for your loss. I remember well when the church started over on the river . I joined as a charter member at 12 years old. Camet and Rita were so faithful to the members of the church. Prayers for you in the days ahead.

Camet Spivey was one of the first people I met when I moved to Galax almost 50 years ago. His intense eyes, commanding voice and warm smile was quite memorable combination. He was always the same every time I saw him. He never failed a ''God bless you". Rita and family you were blessed to have had him in your lives for so long, though it seems like he left too soon. But it's all in God's time. You all are in my thoughts and prayers, May He comfort and peace only He can.

There is so much I could say about Camet but I would not have enough room to write it all down. I do know that Freddie, Cosby, Chris, and I loved him a lot and we love his family. You could go to him with anything and he was there ready and willing to help no matter what. I am praying for the family and I know that the Lord will bring them through and I want each of you to know that if we can help in anyway please do not hesitate to let us know. He is rejoicing with his Lord and I can imagine what kind of a smile he has on his face. We loved you Camet and you will be missed so very much!
