Rev. Dr. Karen Y. Collier's Mother and Father allowed my Father Donald G. Nealy to live in the room above the dry cleaners that they owned on the corner of DB Todd Blvd and Jefferson Street while he was at Meharry. Dr. Collier was my advisor in college at Fisk University and we attended the same church, Clark Memorial United Methodist Church. She was extraordinary mentor and friend. She is the reason why I am reminded to give to Fisk University.

Karen was my classmate at Gammon Theological Semin ary. I knew that she would touch many lives with the grace of God!!

Dr. Collier was a wonderful colleague and a kind person. She was also a mentor to my daughter, who attended seminary after graduating from Fisk. I extend my condolences to the entire Collier Family.

Rev. Dr. Karen Collier was my favorite pastor that influenced my life greatly. She was one of those individual I count has a blessing sent by God. God bless your soul to be at peace with our Lord in heaven. All my love to your family during the time.
